We made it to Hong Kong!!

So after about 5 1/2 hours today we made it to Hong Kong, which is really only about 2 1/2-3 hour drive. However we had to take a few shuttles this afternoon. Got onto the train at 3:30, got to Hong Hum Train Station in Hong Kong at 5:30 then had to get a taxi and make the trip to the airport hotel. Going through Immigration is always time consuming and fun!!!! So we got to the hotel tonight which is very very nice!! The Regal!! Wish we had more time explore!! Its beautiful here at the Hotel. But we instead ran to the terminal and grab a burger and fries, not Chinese food!! We loved the food in China! Just a little tried of it! and headed back to our room to get Lottie a bath and wind down time. She was soooooo tired she fell right to sleep tonight after her bath. Matt and I are headed right behind her!

I have a very sad heart today for Lottie and leaving her birth country. When our wonderful guide brought us to the train station and saw us off I could not hold it in. I cried my eyes out!! I am still so sad to leave behind everything she knows and her country. I know that it is for the best, I just still have a hard time grasping leaving the place I was so drawn to for the last three years and the place she called home for the first two years of her life. Its so hard to believe that this chapter of her life and our life has started! We are all three so blessed to find each other and begin our family life together. A piece of my heart will always belong to this wonderful place China as it is the start of my daughter's life and the start of parenthood for us!!!!! What better gifts could a place offer!!!!
