Hello. Christmas eve started out as other days. We went down to the breakfast buffet. Lottie has a very good appetite. She also likes just about everything we put in front of her. Christmas eve morning we went to a Buddahist temple. It was pretty cool. Lots of people worshipping and praying. Seems like Buddahist use a lot of inscense. There was very much burning all around. Lottie, Kim, and myself were blessed by a monk in one of the temples.
The afternoon we spent walking on the island and going to some shops. Lottie got her 1st pair of squeaky shoes. Her face lit up when she realized that she squeaked when she walked. Went to the White Swan to walk around and also to the playroom there. Lottie met up with her buddy Max. Tim and Ann are a couple from Minniapolis that we met and they adopted Max. Little Max is all boy and loves to play, sometimes a little too much for Lottie. Our guide Ike took us by the Catholic church where we met the priest. Father Peter was a very nice man and blessed Lottie for us. So.....1st a Buddahist blessing then a Christian blessing, a few more religions and we should have all bases covered!
Christmas eve we were lucky to receive a free meal from our hotel restaurant. Since we are spending so many nights here they were nice enough to give us a free meal. We had all the fixins, Steak, salad, Cod, Shrimp, Prawn, Quail eggs, caiviar and, Goose liver. Very good meal. Kim, Lottie, and I haven't been holding back when it comes to the local cuisine. Lottie eats fried rice and Papaya like it's going out of style.
Christmas day is supposed to be chilly and rainy so we will see how much we get accomplished. Could be a lazy day.

Merry Christmas!! I hope you are having a wonderful day. Thanks for trying so hard to send an update. We are a patient family. Loved all the new photos too.
