For those of you who are not aware the 100 Good Wishes Quilt is a tradition in Chinese Adoption. The purpose of the quilt is to welcome and celebrate the new child who has come into the family. Friends and Family are invited to contribute a patch of fabric with a wish for the adopted child. Part of the fabric goes into the quilt and the other goes into the "wish book" for the child. The quilt is to be passed down generation to generation.
I have already gone through the wish book and looked at the quilt together so many times. I can just imagine Charlotte going through this and pulling it out every so often to know that she was thought of and loved before she made it as part of our family. We are so thankful for the the creators and organizers of the quilt, Sara, Beth, and Sylvia. We are just so grateful and lucky to have such caring family to take on such a time consuming project on for Charlotte. She will cherish it for years to come.
Here are the pics of the incredible Quilt and Wish Book. Also we are headed back to some doctors appointments on Monday so please keep little Charlotte in your prayers on Monday. Take care and have a Great Weekend!!!!!!!!!
