Busy Busy!!

Well right before we left for our vacation two weeks ago we got all of the documents in for the dossier. We are also waiting on our USCIS I-800A finger printing appointment. This is the clearance you get from homeland security giving you permission to adopt a child over seas (I think). Its complicated to know what everything is and why you are doing it when you do so much paper work! lol We are also waiting on our passports . We applied for them right before we left for the UP. We had a wonderful vacation in the UP of Michigan. It is so beautiful there!! Pics to come soon.

I have been very busy catching up from being on vacation, going back to school for two more classes, and applying for adoption grants/ low interest loans. The grants and loans are also a lot of paperwork but very worth it if you are to receive them. Its so wonderful that there are so many organizations that are willing to help orphans find homes through financial assistance!! Keep your fingers crossed for us that we may be accepted to a few of them!!

I talked with Nicole and it looks like we will be ready for not the next shared list release, but should be ready for the one after that. So we are looking at sometime at the end of August when our dossier is logged in to China and we can start viewing WC (Waiting Children) files from the shared list.

Matt and I spent last night going over the list of Special Needs we are willing to consider. Its such a hard process to determine what you are capable of handling. Matt said he feels bad for the children we are not willing to consider because they too need homes! Bless his heart I know how he feels! We just hope and pray that the children with the special needs that we can not consider find loving homes too! Please keep all orphan children in your prayers that they may be kept safe and find loving homes!!! Till next time!!!
