Progress Progress!!!!
Wow! We got some great news today. Nicole from our adoption agency called and said the home study was approved. We also found out if I get my butt moving on the rest of the paperwork for the dossier that we could be logged in to China in 6 to 8 weeks!! So we are hoping that we will be able to possibly be matched when the next shared list comes out. Which with my calculations (which isn't going off of too much) the next list could be out in July or August. We would travel approximately 5 months after being matched. So this means we could be back with our child in 6-8 months!!! or December or January!! How great would that be!!!!!!! But this also depends on a lot of things. If we get matched, how long till the rest of the paperwork gets done, if there are any other delays in paperwork, mistakes, etc.... So what great news to get tonight. Now Matt and I need to start our focus on getting that dossier done and getting the upstairs remolded done!!! Take care all!!!!

Wow Great news!!!
ReplyDeleteYay! You can do it! It seems a bit overwhelming at first, but really in the end, it's only a few pieces of paper that you have to get. If you need some support, email me and I'll give you my number (if I didn't already) and I'll try to help you guys out. I'm not an expert, but I do have a friend who's been through two Chinese adoptions so she's a wonderful resource to have!
