Update on Lottie

On Wednesday Lottie has been with us for 4 months now!! Wow that time has flown by!! We found out she was going to be our daughter on August 23rd 2010. So we waited four months to get her in our arms!! Now that we have had her four months let me tell you it is MUCH easier to have her for four months than to wait for her for four months!!! :) Looking back that was such a emotional roller coaster!!

We are so glad to have her in our arms now! She and I  are doing so much better with attachment. She lets me hold her and rock her now for longer periods of time. She makes great eye contact with me now. We have really grown so much closer. I knew that one day looking back I would be able to say that the attachment has improved and it definitely has. Four months from now I bet again I will be able to see much growth.

We have a big weekend planned for Easter. Tonight Lottie's Grandma Sue is coming to visit and see Lottie for the first time. We are going to an Easter Egg Hunt tomorrow and we have 3 Easter destinations on Sunday.
