Adoption

I have to say that adoption is a true miracle of the heart.  Its a amazing way to make a family and my only wish is that more could make their families through the love of adoption. We did a special needs adoption with Lottie and would do another one in a second!!! If you research, know the facts, and be prepared about the special need, its such a wonderful way to go in the adoption world. There are sooooo many children in the world waiting to be adopted that are overlooked because they have a "special need". I really do think of Lottie as perfect! I don't see her eye as a drawback. I see it as making her the perfect way she is. :)  To me thou some may not think that way, she is perfect!
I look at her quite often and have to pinch myself. It just doesn't seem real  that Matt and I decided to adopt 3 years and 4 months ago and now we are home with our little miracle in our arms. She fits so perfectly into our lives and we are just so blessed. I could not imagine life without her . There is a quote that I think of often with our little girl.....     WE LOVE YOU LOTTIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We really hope that by sharing our Journey to Adoption on this blog and by talking to others that we may influence someone else to take the same path.  I know in my heart that it was God's calling for us to adopt Lottie, now I feel lead by him to help others who have the same calling in their hearts!!! If you have ever considered adoption please listen to your heart and let God lead you in that path. To us its the most "perfect" miracle for a child and their parents to unite!!
