Home Study Update

Well we were hoping to have had our second HS (Home Study) appointment by now but a wrench got thrown into it when our HS agency said they would like us to pick a agency for China Adoption before they moved forward. I have been researching agencies for two years now!! So I must say after hours on the computer looking at agency websites, reading yahoo group post, and following blogs, I am confident with our decision to use A.A.C. Adoption and Family Network out of Berthoud Colorado. They are a smaller agency which is really what Matt and I want. I have found that with any agency you pick there are positives and drawl backs. I am confident that I was drawn to the agency for a reason! All part of God's little path for us to meet our child. So Nicole the Social Worker at A.A.C. is sending out the formal application for us to fill out!! So exciting. I will be waiting by the mail for the next few days ready to fill out all the starting paper work!

We have been very busy getting all the items done to have our next HS appointment with Catholic Social Services. The biggest item to complete was picking our agency. All we have to do is complete our autobiography. Hard to believe but Matt is almost finished and I haven't really even started mine yet! I never thought that would have happened. I am counting on a snow day on Friday so I can get it done all in one shot!!
